Ivory Tusk Consulting Email Logo
Logo used in emails from Ivory Tusk Consulting. This logo, as well as and designing a "hypothetical" (at the time) logo for a state house run, was my application to work for RJ May, the founder and president of Ivory Tusk Consulting. I must've done a good job, because it's been seen by every person who received an email from the firm since the logo was created.
“WeSpur” Concept Logo
A mockup of what would become the University of South Carolina's counterpart to Clemson's free speech organization. When I was designing it, I wanted it to convey the same aggressive message that WeRoar's logo did. Unfortunately, it fell through for a number of reasons. We weren't well connected with anyone at USC, were unaware of any controversies, and most importantly (we felt), while "spurring" doesn't share any connotation with speech like "roar" does, "WeSpur" kinda sounds like you're saying "whisper" with a silly accent. Not a good look that the name of your campus's free speech organization invokes speaking in hushed tones... To any USC fans, I promise you that this was unintentional.
WeRoar Logo
Clemson's free speech conglomerate, made up of members and leadership of Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), Turning Point USA (TPUSA), and the Tiger Town Observer (TTO). This is the first official logo of an organization that I designed.
I used the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator to meticulously trace every detail I found important in this photo. I was mostly doing it for fun, but the team liked what I came up with so much that it was adopted after another student group chose to disaffiliate (their loss).
